This identifies monetary abuse quite well. Do you have any pointers on how to rise above this and stand up to it all?

Economic abuse is also defined by the husband refusing to allow the wife to attend college. Refusing to cooperate with the wife when she wants to hire a sitter for the children while she attends school and studies. Refusing to hire a sitter and refusing to cooperate when the wife takes a job.

my husband does this all the time (almost every one of those listed above). I haven't been paid any money since February 2009 - it is now September 2009. And when I say ANY, I mean ANY. No grocery money, nothing. I either go without or have to ask him (like a child) to which most times he will say NO he's not going to buy what I want (and of course, I can't, because I don't have the money). This extends to important things like prescription medicine (mine has to be paid for bc I don't have insurance - but he has insurance and gets his for free). I dont think he loves me and I'm beginning to hate my life.
