May 11, 2007, Newsletter Issue #173: Conflict Resolution Skills

Tip of the Week

Couples who do well in relationships resolve conflict rather than avoid issues. However, resolving conflict doesnīt mean that it has to be resolved right away. Sometimes it is best to sit back and evaluate your emotions before you discuss the issue. Once you have evaluated your emotions and you can discuss the issue without attacking your partner, try discussing the issue again.
